Are you looking to start your career in tax? We're seeking ambitious individuals from all backgrounds to join our team as a trainee, studying towards the ACCA/CTA qualification.

About the team

Our tax team deals with a large portfolio of corporate and private clients. You will be working in a fast-paced environment on tax advisory and compliance services. Our team are leading advisors in Ireland to the film and TV industry, and you will work with large Irish independent producers as well as Hollywood studios and streaming service providers. In addition, we do significant work in the Irish digital gaming sector, and R&D tax credits. This is an exciting time to join our team which is expanding rapidly.

About the programme

15 September to 3 October

Our training contract takes three years to complete with full support and access to first-class tuition centres.

If you'reAAT Level 4 qualified, you will be eligible for exemptions, otherwise we ask for all trainees to complete the full ACCA. We believe that studying alongside a cohort gives you the best chance of exam success.

Your role and development

Your growthdoesn't just come from exams,andit comes from valuable work experience and real-world learning.

As a Tax Trainee, you'll be supported by experienced professionals and gradually introduced to a wide range of technical and advisory work. You'll gain hands-on experience while building your knowledge of Irish tax compliance and advisory services.

You can expect to be involved in:

* Assisting with advisory services to the Irish film, TV, and gaming industries.
* Working closely managers on the tax team in providing tax advisory and compliance services to a broad range of domestic and international tax services to high net-worth (HNW) individuals and family offices.
* Supporting the tax compliance process, including assisting with tax accounting and learning how tax returns are prepared and submitted.
* Helping with technical research and assisting in responses to client queries and internal team questions.
* Learning how to identify advisory opportunities within client portfolios and contribute to tax planning discussions.
* Gaining insight into complex Irish tax incentives such as film relief, unscripted production tax credit, digital gaming tax credit, R&D tax credit.
* Assisting in Irish and multi-jurisdictional tax advisory projects including mergers and acquisitions, business exit, and global compliance engagements.

We'll support you every step of the way through mentorship, structured training, and our off-site trainee programmes as well as regular social events to build friendships with colleagues.

What you'll need

* 2:1 (expected or obtained) in any discipline,
* A minimum of 400 Leaving Certificate points or 120 UCAS points (or equivalent), and
* A minimum of B (or equivalent) in GCSE/Junior Certificate Maths and English Language.
