A Cork-based pharmaceutical manufacturing company is seeking an Electrical Project Engineer. This role offers a significant opportunity to manage the entire project lifecycle, applying Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) expertise. As a Project Engineer, you will be part of a team responsible for delivering diverse projects. These include the installation of new distribution boards across manufacturing and utilities, power upgrades for manufacturing facilities, and HVAC replacements and upgrades. Responsibilities: Lead and manage projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Develop project scopes, budgets, and timelines, and define clear project goals and deliverables. Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and external contractors, to ensure seamless project execution. Oversee the design, installation, and commissioning of new electrical systems, distribution boards, and power upgrades. Conduct site surveys and feasibility studies to identify project requirements and potential risks. Ensure all projects comply with relevant electrical engineering codes, standards, and safety regulations. Manage project documentation, including technical specifications, drawings, and change orders. Skills, Attributes & Experience: Solid background in Electrical & Instrumentation engineering Degree in Electrical Engineering or similar Minimum of 5 years of Project Management E&I project delivery experience in any of the following sectors: Pharma, MedTech, O&G, Food & Beverages, manufacturing or Design/PM consultancies relating to the same. Proven track record managing full project lifecycle, from scoping and design to execution and handover Provide support to fee and capital budget proposals as required. Advanced knowledge of all applicable electrical engineering codes, standards and acceptable industry practices. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and team-oriented mindset
