Our client is seeking a strategic leader to spearhead major CAPEX projects, each exceeding €150 million, from inception to completion.

Your objectives:
As the Project Director - CAPEX Projects, you will be measured against the following objectives:
1. Lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of large-scale CAPEX projects, ensuring alignment with company goals.
2. Manage budgets, timelines, and resource allocation to deliver projects on time and within scope.
3. Foster collaboration across cross-functional teams, ensuring seamless coordination throughout the project lifecycle.
What you will do:
As the Project Director - CAPEX Projects, your duties and responsibilities will include:
· Lead the execution of CAPEX projects valued at €150 million+ from concept to commissioning, ensuring alignment with company objectives and regulatory standards.
· Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, budget, risk management, and resource allocation.
· Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, construction, quality, and safety, to ensure seamless project delivery.
· Oversee project progress, making adjustments as necessary to ensure projects remain on track and within budget.
· Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, including senior management, contractors, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
· Ensure compliance with all local and international regulations, standards, and safety requirements.
· Drive continuous improvement by identifying and implementing best practices and innovative solutions to enhance project execution.
· Prepare and present regular project updates, reports, and status to stakeholders and executive leadership.
What you will bring:
· Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
· 10+ years of experience in managing large-scale CAPEX projects, preferably within the pharmaceutical, chemical, or manufacturing industries.
· Proven track record of delivering projects valued at €150 million+ on time and within budget.
· Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams.
· Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
· In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project).
· Familiarity with regulatory requirements in the pharmaceutical or manufacturing sectors is a plus.
· Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
· PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification is advantageous.
