We’re seeking an Assistant General Manager for one of Ireland’s premier live entertainment venues to help drive its smooth, safe and successful daily operations.Working closely with the General Manager, the Assistant GM will oversee front-of-house operations, performance nights, staff leadership and customer experience - ensuring every show runs seamlessly and every guest leaves impressed.
What You’ll Do:
* Lead and support a large FOH team with clear direction, training and motivation
* Act as Duty Manager during performances, responsible for H&S, audience experience and building operations
* Liaise with visiting companies, promoters and producers to ensure smooth event delivery
* Oversee day-to-day venue operations, ensuring presentation, safety and service excellence
* Coordinate with programming, ticketing and commercial teams to support event set-up and success
* Monitor and contribute to financial reporting and event settlements
* Promote a culture of customer service excellence across all departments
What You Bring:
* 2+ years’ experience in a similar operational/management role
* Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills
* Financial acumen and experience managing budgets
* A calm, proactive and collaborative approach under pressure
* Passion for live entertainment and exceptional guest experiences
* Good knowledge of H&S and building management
* Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and event schedules
