Group Financial Accountant – Dublin / Hybrid
We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant to join our client's expanding team in Dublin.
Reporting to the Financial Controller and working closely with the finance team, the Financial Accountant will play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations of the finance function. The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast-paced finance environment.

Your Role:
* Preparation and review of management accounts and statutory financial statements
* Assist in the preparation of annual filings and liaise with external auditors
* Support the month-end close process and ensure accurate financial reporting
* Perform comprehensive balance sheet reconciliations and assist in the consolidation of group results
* Oversee the accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing of transactions
* Manage and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to supplier and customer accounts
* Assist in the preparation and processing of weekly and monthly payrolls for Ireland and overseas
* Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards and regulations
* Maintain up-to-date standard operating procedures for all finance processes
* Support the annual budget and quarterly forecast processes
* Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making
* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance finance processes and systems
Your Skills:
* Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA) with at least 1 year post-qualification experience
* Strong analytical skills with excellent written and verbal communication abilities
* High attention to detail and a strong focus on controls and processes
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
* Proficiency in financial software and MS Office, particularly Excel
