Key Responsibilities

Champion social psychology of risk programmes and long‑term cultural change initiatives.
Provide expert advice, coaching, and training to build organisation‑wide safety capability.
Lead the development and ongoing enhancement of the Safety Management System, steering towards ISO 45001 alignment.
Chair key safety groups, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing across tenants, partners, and stakeholders.
Promote shared learning, innovation, and best practices across a diverse safety community.
Build strong working relationships with internal teams, operational partners, regulators, and third‑party stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with all relevant Health & Safety legislation and industry best practice.
Oversee audit readiness, lead or support incident investigations, and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Experience

Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, Science, or a related discipline.
Chartered or professional membership (e.g., IOSH, NEBOSH, or equivalent).
Significant senior leadership experience in Health & Safety—ideally within industrial, logistics, transport, or similarly complex operational environments.
Proven success delivering and embedding Safety Management Systems (SMS), ideally leading to ISO 45001 certification.
Demonstrated track record of driving cultural transformation using SPoR or similar frameworks.
Full, clean driving licence (valid in Ireland) required.
Eligible to work in Ireland without sponsorship.
Leadership: Able to inspire, influence, and guide cross‑functional teams.
Communication & Influence: Clear, confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
Strategic Thinking: Can develop long‑term safety strategies aligned with business goals.
Dynamism & Energy: Highly driven, resilient, and effective in a fast‑paced environment.
Stakeholder Engagement: Skilled at building strong, trust‑based relationships across diverse partners.
