About This Role
This is a challenging and rewarding position that requires strong technical skills, practice experience, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. As a bookkeeper, you will be responsible for managing financial records across multiple client accounts, processing bank reconciliations, invoices, and journals, and preparing VAT returns and processing payroll.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain accurate financial records across multiple client accounts.
* Process bank reconciliations, invoices, and journals.
* Prepare VAT returns and process payroll.
* Assist with management accounts and year-end preparation.
* Liaise with clients to resolve queries and gather documentation.
* Work with cloud accounting software (e.g. Xero, Sage, Quick Books).
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* 3+ years experience in a practice-based bookkeeping role.
* Strong knowledge of Irish VAT, payroll, and bookkeeping standards.
* Proficiency in accounting software and Excel.
* Excellent attention to detail, organisation, and communication skills.
