Scope of Work: A key role in a growing team that will lead technical and engineering activities on complex high voltage infrastructure works across Ireland.

Turner Lovell is recruiting a Senior Project Engineer to join a global leader in sustainable energy and power grid technologies in Ireland, offering a fantastic opportunity for the right individual to join the leader in their specialism.
You will be responsible for design authority for an engineering discipline with medium to high complexity.
This will involve coordinating engineering assignments across several different projects within the entire value chain efficiently, cost-effectively and in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Providing technical support for tendering & execution of Customer projects, preparation of Primary drawings & Bill of Quantities for engineered items.
Acting as technical lead for all projects.
Overall responsibility for managing and leading all engineering activities.
Instructing, supervising & coordinating engineering teams within internal & external partners and sub-suppliers.
Close cooperation with Sales & Tender management, Project Management, Project Site Installation & Commissioning team.
Preparing specifications, checking suppliers' offers & coordinating with Supply Chain Management for procurement of materials, equipment & services.
Ideal Profile
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Experience in power systems engineering, in utility/industrial substations.
Proactive, result-oriented individual with excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills as well as reliability and ability to work under pressure.
Skilled communicator who can interface with numerous external and internal parties and stakeholders at all levels in a multi-cultural environment.
Sound knowledge of engineering techniques, processes and tools.
Strong commitment to safe work practices and a high level of self-motivation, curiosity, and desire to learn about new technologies.
