Our service department is the backbone of our customer experience, and we are looking for a dynamic leader to help us to continue to grow and develop it.
Your Role:
As Service Manager, you will oversee all aspects of our service department—from customer satisfaction to technician performance and profitability. You will lead a skilled team, be responsible for efficient operations & processes, and ensure our service operations meet manufacturer standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage daily operations of the service department to meet targets, standards & budgets
* Hire, train, and mentor service advisors, technicians, bodywork & parts personnel
* Monitor and report productivity, efficiency, and profitability metrics on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
* Ensure exceptional customer service and resolve escalated concerns.
* Maintain compliance with OEM and safety standards
* Collaborate with parts and sales departments to ensure smooth operations
· Ensure you stay current and up to date with the technical aspects of the role by conducting research and participating in training / franchise events
What We're Looking For:
Essential:
* Proven experience as a Service Manager or Assistant Manager in a dealership or similar setting
* Strong knowledge of automotive service processes and technologies
* Excellent leadership and team-building skills
* Customer-first mindset with strong communication abilities
* Computer literacy
* Problem solving skills
* Time management skills
* Valid driver's license
Desirable:
* Experience with DMS systems (e.g., Autoview, Keyloop)
* Marketing knowledge
* Sales experience
