Responsibilities / What you'll do
Support the transfer of new process/automation technologies from Technology Development into High Volume Manufacturing.
Take ownership of module and/or equipment performance, including qualification, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
Help maintain high levels of equipment availability and process performance to meet safety, quality, output, and cost targets.
Support preventative maintenance strategies, troubleshooting activities, and implementation of equipment or process upgrades.
Use data analysis and structured problem-solving methods to identify issues, improve process capability, and reduce variation.
Partner with engineers across process, equipment, manufacturing, quality, and module teams to solve technical challenges and improve operational performance.
Contribute to defect reduction, yield improvement, and manufacturability enhancements.
Assist in driving improvements in safety, productivity, quality, and cost within your assigned area.
Learn, apply, and help sustain best practices across site technologies while developing technical expertise in semiconductor manufacturing.
Qualifications
To be initially considered for this position, you should have:
A relevant Bachelor's, Master's, or equivalent qualification in Engineering or Science discipline, such as Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry or a similar technical field.
0-4 years of relevant work experience.
A strong interest in semiconductor manufacturing, process engineering, or equipment engineering.
Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to identify trends and support decision-making.
Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple disciplines.
A proactive approach to learning and continuous improvement in a technical manufacturing environment.
Preferred qualifications:
Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes or high-volume manufacturing environments.
Experience through internships, university projects, research, or placements in process engineering, equipment engineering, manufacturing, or related technical areas.
Familiarity with statistical analysis, experimental design, or structured problem-solving methodologies.
Experience working with data analysis tools, technical reporting, or process/equipment performance monitoring.
Familiarity with data automation tools or custom scripts used to extract, clean, and analyze manufacturing data (Python, SQL, MATLAB, R, VBA, Shell scripting, BASH).
Awareness of safety, quality, and operational excellence principles in an industrial environment.

Work Model for this Role: This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
