The Opportunity
An industry-leading global MedTech organisation is seeking a R&D Engineer to play a pivotal role in the design, development, and delivery of complex healthcare technologies. About You
* 10+ years experience
* MSc educated
* Proven background in R&D for complex electro-mechanical systems (medical devices, diagnostics, lab automation, or similar).
* Strong knowledge of systems engineering principles: requirements management, architecture development, integration, and verification.
* Skilled in experimental design and data analysis.
* Comfortable working in fast-paced, agile environments.
* Excellent communicator and collaborator, able to influence and lead across multi-disciplinary teams.
* Self-motivated, curious, and driven to deliver impactful healthcare solutions.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead systems-level design and development for healthcare management systems.
* Define and maintain system and product architectures.
* Translate stakeholder needs into actionable requirements.
* Drive risk analysis and defect tracking.
* Plan and execute system verification testing, analyse data, and present findings through reports and design reviews.
* Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and reliability teams.
* Contribute to risk management activities (dFMEA, hazard analysis) and facilitate cross-functional reviews.
