JOB VACANCY INFORMATION:
Position: Full & Part-time Vacancies
Contract: Full Time & Part Time Permanent Positions (with 6-month probationary period)
Days of Work: Tuesday to Saturday, 9:10am to 5:30 pm (3pm on Saturdays)
Role: Member Service Officer
Reporting to: Manager
Summary of Role:
v The successful candidate will be accountable to the Operations Officer/CEO of the Credit Union for carrying out administrative and operational activities that contribute to the effective running of the Credit Union.
v The successful candidate will also be required to work in any of our branches in Clara, Moate, Ferbane or Banagher. Therefore, own transport and full, clean driving licence is essential.
Key knowledge, skills and experience required include:
· Leaving Certificate or equivalent is essential
· Relevant experience working in a Credit Union, financial institution or customer service role would be an advantage but not essential.
· Strong inter-personnel and communication skills.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office particularly Word and Excel.
· Have an aptitude for numbers, handling & balancing cash.
Working toward a qualification that satisfies Minimum Competency Code (MCC) is required, however, full training and support will be provided to assist in achieving this.
