Job Role: Strategic Capital Projects Leader

This key position is part of the Engineering Project Delivery Team and focuses on executing multi-disciplinary capital projects.
Main Responsibilities:
* Lead project execution to ensure timely, budget-friendly, and high-quality outcomes that meet all project goals and business objectives.
* New project scope definition, cost estimation, capital approval, and effective project budget management.
* Responsible for project schedules, providing clear progress reports and robust risk management.
* Efficiently manage project resources.
* Coordinate project interfaces with internal departments, third-party suppliers, customers, and service providers.
* Oversee Design, Construction, Commissioning, and Qualification activities throughout the project lifecycle.
* Ensure accurate completion of project documentation in compliance with GDP requirements.
* Organize and coordinate project meetings effectively.
* Conduct retrospective project performance reviews against goals, documenting lessons learned for continuous improvement.
* Participate in and lead cross-functional teams as necessary, fostering excellent interdepartmental relationships.
* Provide strong leadership to project teams, guiding them to successful outcomes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* A third-level qualification in Engineering, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or Science.
* At least 8 years of industry experience, including not less than 3 years in pharma/medical device industry and 3 years in a project management role.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Experience delivering engineering projects within a GMP regulated environment.
* API manufacturing experience.
* Qualification in Project Management.
* 6-Sigma/Kepner-Tregoe or similar problem-solving/decision-making methodology training.
