Job Description:
The role of Health and Safety Advisor involves ensuring compliance with Irish health and safety legislation through regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct site inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
* Promote a culture of health and safety across the workforce through toolbox talks and training sessions.
* Investigate incidents and accidents to identify areas for improvement.
* Ensure all health and safety documentation is up-to-date and compliant with legislation.
* Liaise with site teams, management, and external bodies regarding health and safety matters.
Requirements:
* 3+ years of experience in a Health and Safety role within the construction or civil engineering industry.
* Relevant Health and Safety qualification (e.g. Diploma in Health and Safety, NEBOSH).
* Strong understanding of Irish health and safety legislation.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
* Full driving licence.
