This pivotal role is dedicated to leading the AXA Ireland talent acquisition function and team, with a focus on developing and implementing a comprehensive, strategic approach to sourcing, attracting, and onboarding top-tier talent.The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the organisation's talent pipeline to support current operational needs and long-term growth ambitions. By closely aligning talent acquisition initiatives with AXA Ireland's overall business strategy, this position ensures that the organisation remains competitive in attracting the best talent in the industry. The role requires a forward-thinking leader who can foster innovation in recruitment practices, build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, and champion a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring journey.At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work majority of your week away from home. Away from home means either attendance at one of our head office locations, visiting clients or attending industry events.What you'll be doing:· Lead, coach, and develop the Talent Acquisition team to deliver exceptional service to internal stakeholders, and a positive candidate experience.· Build and maintain strategic networks within AXA and the wider industry to share best practices and stay ahead of recruitment trends and challenges.· Collaborate closely with internal teams and act as a liaison to resolve any recruitment blockers.· Contribute to and execute AXA Ireland's Talent Acquisition Strategy, aligning recruitment efforts with business needs and headcount targets.· Support the development of regional and global resourcing strategies through active participation in broader networks and meetings.· Manage and continuously improve the candidate experience, ensuring it is inclusive, fair, and transparent.· Personally source and manage senior-level recruitment in line with workforce and succession plans.· Oversee all aspects of resourcing, including permanent, fixed-term, and contingent labor, and lead relevant steering groups.· Ensure recruitment practices comply with legislation, industry standards, and internal policies, maintaining data integrity and reporting standards.· Manage recruitment risks, KPIs, and controls effectively, providing insightful management information and market analysis.· Lead initiatives to improve relationships and processes, and oversee resourcing projects.· Manage relationships with recruitment vendors, ensuring alignment with internal guidelines.· Coordinate onboarding to ensure a seamless experience across teams.· Monitor and deliver on recruitment KPIs, including diversity, costs, compliance, and service levels.· Forecast and manage recruitment activity, budgets, and workforce planning in collaboration with finance and HR teams.· Ensure all offers align with AXA salary frameworks and benefits guidelines.At least 6 years' experience in a HR/Recruitment role – including senior leader recruitment, with at least 3 years' people management experience.Extensive experience in end-to-end recruitment process experience (including contracts, pre-employment screening, and onboarding).Experience of ROI and/or NI employment law and CBI/FCA requirements for recruitment and selection including an understanding of how MCC/F&P etc. requirements affect the recruitment process.Experience of managing high volume/senior recruitment campaigns/assessment centres and re-deployment.Knowledge of resourcing and selection tools – ideally iCIMs or Workday.Awareness & working knowledge of the overall compliance to Health & Safety, IT Security and all legislation/compliance impacting the HR function & recruitment.Proven experience in collaboration and stakeholder management skills (including senior leadership).Beneficial to hold a APA/ACII qualification.Strong people management, coaching, and communication abilities.Proven ability to prioritise workloads and allocate resources effectively to achieve objectives.Experience in process design and continuous improvement.Ideally worked within a large, highly regulated financial services organisation.Understanding of inclusive recruitment practices and their role in promoting diversity.Project management skills, particularly related to recruitment initiatives.This role is an allocated Controlled Function under Fitness & Probity Regime, which means the successful candidate will be subject to an enhanced level of background screening requirements.
