The project:
The M401 Civil Rail Lead will oversee the delivery of the M401 Contract. The role requires a high-caliber individual who acts as an ambassador for the contract, fostering relationships, performance, and morale within their team, with the project delivery partner, and the M401 contractor. The M401 Civil Rail Lead will be responsible for end-to-end oversight of all aspects of M400 delivery, providing leadership and direction in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
The role involves proactive risk management, developing stakeholder relationships, and establishing robust, agile governance across the M401 delivery team, including the contractor and project delivery partner.

Qualifications and experience:
* 15+ years' experience in large infrastructure or rail project delivery, with at least 7 years in senior management roles (preferably in rail PPPs).
* Proven success managing complex, high-value metro and rail projects from inception to completion.
* Strong leadership skills, capable of managing diverse teams and stakeholder relationships.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Relevant degree (Level 8 or higher), with professional memberships (e.g., Chartered Engineer, PMI, APM).
