SHESQ Advisors
are required to join Ireland's leading multi-disciplinary Engineering and Construction company.
The company offers industry-leading services in civil engineering, transport infrastructure, structural steel & pipe fabrication, water and wastewater, power, natural resources and ground engineering.
It also has a major projects and a property division.
Three roles are available working on projects in the Leinster area.
Responsibilities
Assist in the maintenance of the Safety Management System, Environmental Management System and Quality Management Systems and ensure continued compliance with ISO *****, ISO ***** and ISO ****.
Carry out inductions.
Produce monthly statistics.
Carry out and document site audits and inspections.
Keep up-to-date with changes in safety, health and environmental legislation and construction industry guidance.
Ensure personnel on site have the pre-requisite training records.
Investigate, log and monitor incidents and non-conformances.
Complete all necessary report forms.
Identify significant safety impacts for work areas and help set up appropriate controls.
Ensure all safety and environmental records are kept and readily available.
Prepare and present toolbox talks as and when required.
Prepare and present at monthly safety meetings.
Review subcontractor documentation.
Requirements
Relevant 3rd level qualification in health, safety, environmental and quality.
Minimum of 3 years relevant experience on civil engineering/construction sites.
Experience working on heavy civil engineering projects (deep excavations, lifting, confined space, etc).
Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with one or more teams.
Good written and spoken communication abilities.
Good IT skills with a high attention to detail.
A flexible and proactive approach.
Demonstrate leadership skills.
Salary & Benefits
Salary circa €50k – €60k, negotiable depending on experience.
27 days holiday plus bank holidays.
