Job Title: Parts Advisor Professional
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Parts Advisor to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and sourcing the correct parts required by customers, efficiently managing enquiries, and working closely with other departments to achieve company targets.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify and source the correct parts for trade, retail and workshop customers.
* Manage all telephone, email and online enquiries in an efficient manner.
* Work collaboratively with other departments to achieve company and departmental targets.
* Maintain high standards of housekeeping within the parts department.
* Develop strong relationships with other departments and maintain effective communication channels.
* Maintain and build the customer database through regular contact.
* Process parts orders through various software systems and DMS.
* Create and complete parts returns to distributors.
* Check off deliveries and input information on the DMS.
* Assist in maintaining inventory levels.
* Provide delivery cover as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will possess relevant experience in a similar parts position, have a good understanding of parts and their function, and be able to work to high standards. You will also require strong IT skills, excellent organisational abilities, and a flexible approach to work.
