Financial Operations Specialist.
The role of a Financial Operations Specialist involves managing day-to-day financial tasks, ensuring accuracy in financial records and supporting clients with their accounting needs. This key member of the finance team will help maintain efficient operations and contribute to company growth by preparing year-end statements and reports for review, reconciling accounts including VAT, payroll and fixed assets accurately in accounting software, assisting in preparing management accounts and financial reports while adhering to deadlines and compliance requirements.
Responsibilities:
1. Prepare accurate year-end statements
2. Reconcile VAT, payroll, lease agreements
3. Record transactions using relevant accounting systems
4. Assist in compiling management accounts & related documents
5.Support year-end closing process, finalize journal entries if needed*
Candidate Requirements:
1. Part-qualified accountant certification ACA or ACCA
2. Minimum two years experience within an accountancy practice
