The Buyer will take ownership of sourcing activities, ensuring the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services critical to operational continuity.

Responsibilities: Raise and manage purchase orders in alignment with production schedules and business needs Coordinate with suppliers to confirm order details, lead times, and delivery expectations Monitor inventory levels and forecast procurement requirements Build and maintain effective supplier relationships to secure favourable terms Collaborate with internal stakeholders to plan and support sourcing for ongoing and new projects Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service level agreements with suppliers Maintain accurate procurement records and update ERP systems regularly Evaluate supplier performance and identify improvement opportunities Drive cost-saving initiatives and implement procurement best practices Ensure compliance with procurement policies and relevant regulations Requirements: Experience in a buying or procurement role Strong communication, negotiation, and organisational skills Competent in Microsoft Office and ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment Understanding of supply chain operations and procurement procedures Relevant third-level qualification in business, supply chain, or related discipline (preferred) Experience within the manufacturing or engineering industry advantageous What to do next: If youre interested in this role, click apply now.
