Location: Walsh Waste & Recycling, Deerpark Industrial Estate.
Contract type: fulltime. Salary: From €35,000.00 Yearly to €450,000.00 Yearly. Closing date: Friday 19th June, 2026.
About the Role
The Jet Vac Driver will report to the Liquid Waste Operations Manager.
Key Responsibilities
Operation of Jet Vac Tanker: Safely and efficiently operate the Jet Vac Tanker, including the operation of vacuum and jetting equipment, in compliance with company and industry standards.
Safety: Ensure all safety protocols and procedures are followed at all times, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to traffic regulations.
Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on the Jet Vac Tanker, reporting any issues or defects promptly.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of daily activities, including mileage, fuel consumption, and any maintenance or service performed on the vehicle.
Customer Interaction: Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner, addressing their needs and ensuring a positive customer experience.
Emergency Response: Be prepared to respond to emergency situations, such as spills or blockages, and take appropriate actions to mitigate risks and protect the environment.
Teamwork: Collaborate with other team members, including technicians and dispatch, to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
