Role is located in Dublin.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
* Day to day oversight of the assigned portfolios to ensure high Client Experience Levels and support multiple, complex client accounts.
* Transaction Management: Cash & Trade (Loans, Bonds etc) Management Oversight – ability to engage with clients to ensure timely execution, report review and preparation on portfolio performance, monitoring of service level.
* Work with external clients to resolve complex day-to-day issues and direct them to appropriate resources at BNY. The primary responsibility is the management of a portfolio of loans in which BNY acts as facility agent and/or security trustee. The Senior Associate will quickly address and resolve problems, and demonstrate strong decision-making and organizational skills.
* Collaboration: Continuous dialogue and open communication with Lead Manager and Group Manager on status of work being completed by supporting teams.
* Leads and participates in internal activities and initiatives designed to improve the client experience. Helps develop process improvements.
* Preparing and distributing notices to clients and each syndicate lender as required by the Credit Facility, including reminders, rollovers and rate sets.
* Calculating interest rates for each accrual period and distributing rate set notices.
* Tracking and paying multiple lenders in a single interest period, removing Lender of Record claims.
* Billing and collecting principal, interest, and fees from clients. Distributing all funds collected to the syndicate lenders.
* Collecting financial statements and compliance requirements from clients as required by the Credit Facility, forwarding such information to each syndicate lender in accordance with the Credit Facility.
* Processing lender assignments and maintaining the official lender register.
* Support for official Alternative Reference Rates in accordance with published conventions.
* Employee Development: Key role in training of the support team on client and deal specific requirements.
* Develop strong working relationships with Front Office Relationship Managers.
* Identify and resolve issues while serving as a high-level escalation point for complex situations and ensure that they are brought to a successful resolution.
* Resolves complex or non-routine client issues or inquiries, as needed.
* Central point of contact for business development and assume client onboarding and/or risk management responsibilities.
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
* Experience in Corporate Trust or related financial markets/securities industry (with specific experience in the role of facility/security agent).
* Strong client management experience and ability to review deal governing documents.
* Experience in loans (syndicated, bi-lateral, real estate) is very desirable.
* Solid understanding of the products administered by the group and thorough understanding of risk management and control practices.
* Proactively monitor and manage activities performed with our outside business partners.
* Effective interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
* Excellent analytical, organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
* Problem-solving skills, judgement, and experience to analyze information.
* Proficiency in using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
