Restaurant General Manager
Our business is seeking a Restaurant General Manager to lead our café/restaurant operations.
As a leader, you will manage the team, oversee planning and coordination of our growing catering arm, and maintain exceptional service standards.
Key Responsibilities include:
* Leading, supporting, and motivating café and catering staff
* Overseeing café floor operations and customer service delivery
* Managing staffing, rotas, hiring, and training
* Driving sales and maintaining high standards
* Coordinating catering bookings, menu planning with head chef, and logistics
* Monitoring stock levels, supplier relations, and cost controls
* Upholding food hygiene, health & safety, and quality standards
* Responding to customer feedback and handling operational issues professionally
* Understanding and managing key business margins (KPI)
* Assisting in strategic business planning
Required Skills & Qualifications:
· Self-motivated leader with a passion for delivering exceptional service standards and leading & coaching a dynamic team
· Strong communication skills are key, able to deal with staff, customers, and suppliers in various situations
· Hospitality is a people industry, so there has to be room for someone who enjoys working in a fun environment
· A talented manager, focused on business, organised, and enjoying running a business as if it were their own
· Can act as a brand ambassador for the company
· Proven management experience in café, hospitality, or catering management
· Strong leadership, organisational, and multitasking skills
· Confidence in working both front-of-house and behind the scenes with administration
· A proactive, hands-on approach to problem-solving with a 'Can do' Attitude
· Knowledge of food handling regulations and catering logistics is a plus
· Passion for food, coffee, and aware of industry trends and innovations
