We're Hiring: HR Manager | Childcare Sector | Ireland
Role Overview
Reporting to the Senior Management Team, the HR Manager will lead our people strategy, support centre managers with HR matters, and help cultivate a culture where staff feel valued, supported, and empowered.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies across all centres
* Develop and implement HR policies and best practices in line with Irish employment law and sector standards
* Provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, and disciplinary procedures
* Ensure compliance with relevant childcare regulations (e.g., Tusla, DCEDIY requirements)
* Support training and professional development initiatives
* Maintain accurate HR records, manage contracts, and support payroll processes in coordination with finance
* Champion employee engagement, wellness, and a positive workplace culture
Requirements
* Minimum 3+ years of HR manager experience, ideally in a multi-site or regulated environment
* HR qualification (CIPD accredited or equivalent)
* Strong knowledge of Irish employment law
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Empathy, discretion, and a proactive approach to problem-solving
* Experience in the childcare, education, or healthcare sector is a plus
