1. Operational Leadership
* Develop and implement strategic operational plans to ensure timely service delivery, installations, and issue resolution.
* Manage the scheduling and allocation of engineers for service calls, installations, and maintenance.
2. Resource Optimization
* Oversee vehicles, tools, and equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
* Collaborate with HR to maintain appropriate staffing levels and support recruitment needs.
3. Customer Service Excellence
* Work with Customer Service to resolve issues, improve service quality, and ensure customer satisfaction.
* Ensure engineers are fully trained and equipped to handle installations and inquiries effectively.
4. Financial Management
* Control operational costs, ensuring efficiency and profitability.
* Develop and manage departmental budgets within agreed financial guidelines.
5. Performance Monitoring & Reporting
* Implement key performance indicators to ensure service levels and efficiency targets are met.
* Conduct regular performance reviews and provide clear feedback to direct reports and the wider team.
6. Inventory & Supply Chain Management
* Maintain stock levels and manage supplier relationships to ensure parts are available and cost-effective.
* Coordinate with the warehouse for timely distribution of parts and equipment.
7. Health & Safety
* Enforce health and safety protocols and safe working practices.
* Conduct regular safety audits and ensure the team is fully trained in hazard management.
