About the Position
As a seasoned Technical Services Manager, you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team in the engineering support sector. Your primary responsibility will be to provide top-notch technical support to customers in the plumbing trade, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products.
Your role will involve working closely with clients and stakeholders to represent the company's interests effectively. You will also be responsible for assisting in component verification and validation, quality management of all products, and development of production test equipment.
To excel in this position, you will need to possess exceptional problem-solving skills, experience in product design, business management, and quality procedures. Additionally, you should have prior experience working with high-profile clients and stakeholders, as well as knowledge of ISO 9001.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide engineering support to customers in the plumbing trade.
* Ensure delivery of quality products to the end customer in a timely manner.
* Work closely with customers and represent the company in the best possible manner.
* Assist in component verification and validation.
* Quality management of all products.
* Development of production test equipment.
* Identify and drive product and process quality and cost improvements.
* Provide support to contract manufacturers, ensuring delivery of high-quality products.
Requirements
* 3 years' experience in a plumbing-related role.
* Problem-solving skills and ability to work with clients.
* Knowledge of ISO 9001.
* Experience with CAD.
* Material science knowledge.
* Competency in Microsoft tools (Word, Excel, Project).
* Experience in plumbing or heating product development.
