Senior Accountant
to join a highly regarded firm in Cork.
In this role, you will take ownership of client portfolios, provide strategic guidance, and play a key part in shaping the future direction of the practice.

Key Responsibilities
Act as a trusted advisor to a varied client base, building and maintaining strong long-term relationships.
Oversee preparation of financial statements in line with FRS102 and IFRS.
Manage corporation tax and income tax filings, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Ensure all submissions to Revenue and the Companies Registration Office (CRO) are fully compliant.
Conduct detailed file reviews to maintain quality and regulatory standards.
Mentor and support junior accountants, fostering growth and team performance.
Identify client challenges and provide practical, tailored solutions that add real business value.
The Ideal Candidate
Fully qualified accountant with at least 2 years' PQE.
Proven experience within practice, ideally managing a portfolio of clients.
Strong technical knowledge of FRS102 and IFRS.
Commercially aware with a clear understanding of client needs.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to build trust and rapport.
Previous leadership or mentoring experience is a strong advantage.
