Rare Disease Clinical Research Nurse
Job Opportunity:
The role of a Rare Disease Clinical Research Nurse involves coordinating and managing clinical trials, working closely with patients, clinicians, and researchers to advance rare disease research.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent time management and organisational skills, tact and discretion in handling sensitive information, and the ability to work collaboratively with others.
Key Responsibilities:
* Coordinate clinical trials and academic research activities
* Organise and manage projects at Beaumont Hospital
* Work with investigators to coordinate contributions to EU rare disease efforts
* Conduct extensive chart reviews for assigned projects
* Maintain patient confidentiality and dignity during clinical trials/research projects
Candidate Requirements:
* Essential: Bachelor's degree level or above in nursing education
* Essential: Registered with The Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland
* Desirable: Significant post-registration experience, preferably 3+ years
* Excellent interpersonal skills required for effective communication and collaboration
