Job Description
We are seeking an ambitious and experienced Senior Lighting Sales Consultant to join our Dublin team.
This is a full-time, permanent role for a dynamic sales leader who can combine technical lighting expertise with strong commercial skills.
A background or qualification in interior design or lighting would be a distinct advantage.
This is a senior sales role with clear responsibility for driving revenue growth, building relationships with architects and interior designers, and introducing premium brands to expand our product portfolio.
You will be a central figure in the showroom, providing expert lighting advice, delivering detailed quotations and specifications, and ensuring projects are managed seamlessly from concept to completion.

Responsibilities
Lead showroom sales by consulting with clients and delivering tailored lighting solutions.
Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, interior designers, developers, and private clients.
Identify and source new brands to enhance our product offering.
Prepare detailed quotations, specifications, and lighting plans, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
Interpret architectural drawings and collaborate with clients on lighting design proposals.
Manage lighting projects from concept through to delivery, including purchase orders, stock management, and site coordination.
Proactively develop new business opportunities and grow our trade customer base.
Maintain and enhance showroom displays to reflect the latest products and trends.
Provide excellent after-sales support to ensure long-term client satisfaction.
Stay up to date with industry innovations, smart lighting technologies, and design trends.
Contribute to business development strategies and sales targets to drive overall growth.
Qualifications & Preferred Experience
Degree or qualification in Interior Design/Business and a strong background in architectural/decorative lighting (advantage).
Proven track record in sales and business development, within lighting or interiors
Strong network and established relationships with architects and interior designers.
Demonstrated ability to deliver tailored lighting advice aligned with customer needs.
Experience preparing accurate quotations, purchase orders, and managing stock.
Commercially aware with a strong head for figures and ability to maintain profit margins.
Familiarity with design tools such as SketchUp, Relux, or Dialux (advantage).
Confident communicator with excellent presentation skills and a client-first approach.
Skilled in social media promotion and brand awareness to support marketing efforts.
Goal-oriented, proactive, and structured in achieving both personal and team sales targets.
A strong team player who can also work independently with initiative.
