Senior Systems Operations Engineer
This is a senior backend systems and applications operations role with responsibility for reliability, security, compliance, and automation across a Microsoft hybrid environment.
The right candidate must have in depth M365, Entra ID/AD and Share Point On Prem experience.
This is a permanent position, hybrid work structure in Dublin 2.
Key responsibilities
Provide Level 3 support for critical applications (not end user support)
Diagnose and troubleshoot complex issues
Management of multiple Microsoft 365 tenants (Exchange Online, Share Point Online, One Drive for Business, Teams, Intune, Power Platform, Power BI, and related applications - Azure AD (Entra ID) infrastructure, Exchange on-prem, and Share Point on-prem)
Administer and manage on-premise systems and applications
Monitor, verify, and maintain daily processes, including logs, alerts, and maintenance plans.
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation and training materials, Junior staff mentoring
Requirements
5+ years of relevant experience in Systems Support roles
Strong technical background in Microsoft 365, Azure AD (Entra ID), Active Directory, Exchange, Share Point, One Drive
Excellent communication, report writing, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Experience mentoring junior staff
Knowledge of ITIL standards to ensure compliance with governance policies.
