Job Opportunity: National Community Fundraising Officer (Short-Term Assignment) Location: Dublin City Centre (Hybrid 23 days onsite) Contract Type: Short-term (Immediate start required) Working Hours: MondayThursday, 9am5pm; Friday, 9am4pm Salary: €41,997 (pro rata) -Interim week to week paid via CPL ________________________________________ We are a well-established national non-profit organisation based in Dublin City Centre, working to address social issues and support vulnerable communities across Ireland. Our mission-driven work focuses on creating meaningful change and engaging the public to support our goals through advocacy, services, and community involvement. We are currently seeking a National Community Fundraising Officer for a short-term contract, supporting our fundraising initiatives in the Leinster region. The successful candidate will work as part of a collaborative, national fundraising team and will help drive income growth and community engagement. Key Responsibilities Community Engagement: Promote the organisations mission through local events, campaigns, and engagement with community groups. Fundraising & Events: Coordinate fundraising activities, including participation in national and DIY local events. Develop relationships with individual and group fundraisers to increase revenue and repeat support. Campaign Support: Assist with the implementation of key campaigns across the Leinster region and recruit participants for flagship events. Communications & Media: Collaborate with the communications team to secure local media coverage and generate campaign visibility. Resource Development: Create and manage materials that support local fundraising efforts, ensuring brand consistency. Relationship Building: Cultivate connections with local organisations, community groups, clubs, and associations to grow awareness and support. Volunteer Management: Recruit and manage volunteer committees to support events and initiatives throughout the year. Reporting & Financials: Accurately manage donations, process income, maintain CRM records, and provide monthly reports on fundraising activity and income projections. Team Collaboration: Work closely with the national fundraising team to meet targets and share regional insights and stories. ________________________________________ Key Requirements: Experience in fundraising, event coordination, or community engagement Proven ability to meet income or engagement targets Strong relationship-building and communication skills Excellent organisational skills and ability to multitask under pressure High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends Full clean drivers licence and access to own car (essential) Ability to start at short notice (essential) ________________________________________ Get in Touch!
