Area Sales Manager – Industrial Sectors

Job Function
The Area Sales Manager has a technical-commercial profile and is responsible for the development and follow-up of sales activities in an assigned export geographical area, in line with the company's strategy.
He/She acts as the main interface with customers in the region and coordinates with internal departments at headquarters.
Main Responsibilities
1. Business Development & Account Management
1. Develop the Mobile and Industrial activity within the assigned geographical area.
2. Analyze product and service needs of key accounts.
3. Manage and expand the existing customer portfolio, adapting sales strategies to customer typology, sales channels, market, and geopolitical context.
4. Define and execute the sales value plan, estimate volumes and revenue, and ensure achievement of objectives.
5. Create and manage the pricing strategy: offers, quotes, campaigns, promotions, and discounts.
6. Collect and analyze market, product, and competitor information using available tools (CRM, internal platforms).
7. Handle returns, claims, and conflicts in collaboration with the internal sales support team to ensure customer satisfaction.
8. Contribute to product development (own brand and private label) in coordination with dedicated teams.
2. Marketing & Promotion
9. Represent the company in exhibitions, trade shows, and customer events.
10. Organize and coordinate customer training programs.
11. Promote the company's solutions and services to customers and prospects.
3. Performance Monitoring
12. Track and report performance indicators (sales volume, growth, margin, customer satisfaction, market evolution).
4. Continuous Improvement
13. Analyze successes and failures, draw lessons from past projects, and provide feedback for technical and commercial improvements.
5. Compliance & Reporting
14. Align with group sales strategy and management guidelines.
15. Ensure effective use of CRM and IT tools (CRM Dynamics 365, internal reporting systems).
Reporting & Relationships
16. Internal relations: Cross-functional collaboration with sales, marketing, product, logistics, and support teams
17. External relations: Clients, prospects, and business partners
Required Skills & Competencies
Technical & Commercial Skills
18. Strong negotiation and client relationship management skills.
19. In-depth knowledge of markets, products, and local cultural/business practices.
20. Solid understanding of technical-commercial processes.
21. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
22. Excellent written and spoken English (additional languages relevant to the region are a plus).

Background & Education
27. Higher degree in Commerce, Sales, or Management (or equivalent professional experience).
28. Experience in filtration, maintenance, or a related technical industry is an asset.
Job Constraints
29. Frequent travel abroad (minimum 20 weeks/year).
30. Combination of field presence, home office, and occasional visits to HQ.
31. Driver's license required.
