The Institute works in conjunction with the Department of Agriculture, Food and Marine (DAFM) and a network of other Government Departments, semi-state agencies, national and international marine partners.Summary of the Role:The successful candidate will be a key member of the Fish Health Unit, providing specialist histopathology expertise in the diagnosis and investigation of diseases affecting finfish, Mollusc and crustacean species. This role involves leading histopathological services within the National Reference Laboratory for aquatic animal diseases, supporting statutory testing, disease surveillance, and research.
