Chemical Research Position
We are seeking an expert in synthetic organic chemistry to enhance our research and development capabilities.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in process development, scale-up, and troubleshooting. They will be responsible for providing technical support to the manufacture of APIs and intermediates, identifying projects to optimise processes, and leveraging data monitoring tools.
The ideal candidate will have a PhD in organic chemistry and experience in the pharmaceutical industry. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Quality, and EHS.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop laboratory projects, including route scouting and crystallisation optimisation.
* Provide technical support for API and intermediate manufacturing at scale-up and manufacturing levels.
* Implement process optimisation projects, considering scale-up aspects and Critical to Quality Attributes.
* Utilise data monitoring tools, such as FBRM and Raman spectroscopy.
* Coordinate tech transfer activities for new products, including process development, customer engagement, and campaign readiness.
