We are seeking a Senior Buyer to join a dynamic team in a fastpaced, innovative food manufacturing environment. This is a key role responsible for ensuring the efficient and cost effective sourcing of raw materials, ingredients, packaging, and indirect goods and services. About the Role As Senior Buyer, you will be involved in strategic procurement initiatives, manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and drive cost savings while ensuring quality and service excellence. You will collaborate closely with Production, Quality, Planning, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to support operational requirements and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with business goals. Source new suppliers and manage existing supplier performance. Negotiate pricing, contracts, and service agreements. Monitor market trends, risks, and supply chain developments. Work closely with internal teams to forecast requirements and optimise inventory. Lead cost saving initiatives and supplier innovation projects. Analyse procurement data and prepare reports for management. Support continuous improvement and sustainability initiatives. About You 5+ years' experience in procurement, ideally within food, FMCG, or manufacturing. Proven negotiation and contract management skills. Strong commercial awareness and analytical skills. Ability to build strong internal and external relationships. Excellent communication and problem solving abilities.
