Role / Department
As a HR Specialised Services Senior Analyst at Northern Trust, you are the first point of contact for employee and manager queries. You will provide guidance and coaching on HR Policies and Programs and steward HR data and processes. You will assist in administering various HR programs, services, and processes supporting the EMEA region. This role will interact with all levels of employees and cover operations across 10 countries in the region, including the following activities:
* HR Call Centre & Case Management Activity
* Flexible Working Applications
* Benefit Administration
* Background Screening including Recurring & Regulatory Checks
* Time & Labour Compliance
* Leave Administration
* Official Title Promotions
* Regulatory Role administration
* RFP & Reporting
* Updating and maintaining partners data throughout their lifecycle where required
* Job responsibilities will vary and the Senior Analyst must be able to prioritize multiple assignments and can be rotated or reassigned to balance workload
The Key Responsibilities Of The Role Include
* Responds to questions and counsels employees and managers on HR policies and processes, HR systems, employee data, and assists with data updates. Uses knowledge bases and case management systems; encourages self-service tools; resolves complex matters within guidelines and escalates when needed.
* Demonstrates a positive, professional, customer- and delivery-oriented image. Acts as a role model to team members and clients seeking HR services.
* Provides proactive status updates, guidance, and information to customers and stakeholders; suggests process improvements.
* Processes HR Services requests such as leave requests, Time & Labour issues, and other data updates, including complex/non-routine requests.
* Performs HR operational processes such as onboarding, offboarding, background checks, and leave administration.
* Ensures high-quality standards and adherence to SLAs.
* Documents case details in the case management system and keeps functional documentation up to date.
* Senior Analysts have strong technical skills across HR areas and may train other HR Service Analysts.
* Senior Analysts may participate in User Acceptance Testing of new systems or features.
Skills / Qualifications
* A College or University degree and/or relevant HR work experience is preferred.
* Experience in a call centre environment is beneficial.
* Ability to handle complex/non-routine inquiries with excellent customer service and relationship skills.
* Ability to work under pressure with accuracy and attention to detail.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
