Role Overview
Working onsite with a key NNIT client, you will support the use of the MES system in the manufacturing environment.
This includes change management, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement activities, ensuring the site delivers safe and effective products while maintaining compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Provide SME knowledge to the operations team with respect to the MES system.
Partner with Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, IT and Quality functions to ensure efficient and effective MES site support during operational hours.
Work with the operations teams to deliver on department goals, schedules, and timetables for activities.
Coach and mentor the operations team on the use of the MES system, upskilling operations staff on the basics of troubleshooting.
Lead MES activities in support of validation of new processes.
Skills & Experience
Proven experience of 3 or more years working with pharma environment manufacturing systems and large-scale applications.
Strong experience with an MES system in pharma/life sciences manufacturing environment.
Full understanding of cGMP requirements including 21 CFR 11 and Annex 11.
Excellent understanding of GAMP principles, systems implementation and validation concepts.
Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Strong technical writing skills.
C# coding, SQL and Oracle database experience required.
Person Brief
Level 8 degree in Computer Science / IT / Pharmaceutical Manufacturing or highly related discipline.
3+ years' experience in a relevant role involving diverse pharma, life sciences manufacturing software systems.
Excellent collaboration, communication skills, strong attention to detail and ability to present to leadership.
Logical thinker, proactive, flexible, capable of managing multiple priorities.
Excellent organizational skills.
Must be onsite daily in Kilkenny.
