This Work Placement Experience Programme provides participants with meaningful work experience, learning and training while on the programme. The programme is for jobseekers who are in receipt of qualifying social welfare payments and those transferring from a social welfare scheme or an ETB Training Allowance. Eligibility will be verified by the Department as part of the application process.
Job Description
* Assembly of food weighing & food packages.
* Safe operation of machinery and equipment.
* Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
* Assist with quality control checks to ensure food products meet quality standards.
* Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment.
* Organise and implement product schedules to meet production goals and deadlines.
Candidate Requirements
* Minimum experience required (Years): 0 – no prior experience necessary.
* Accredited or sector recognised training will be provided.
* Formal training: Manual Handling, Health & Safety, HACCP, Quality Control.
* Informal training: work effectively in a team, communicate clearly, participate in food production planning & delivery.
