Job Title: Senior Speech and Language Therapist

* Conduct comprehensive assessments and provide therapy for patients with communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing difficulties.
* Manage a senior caseload including stroke, neurological conditions, progressive disease, and acutely ill elderly patients.
* Deliver specialist dysphagia interventions using evidence-based best practice.
* Work closely with the MDT (medical, nursing, physiotherapy, occupational therapy) to ensure holistic patient care.
* Provide training and education for hospital staff, patients, and families.
* Maintain accurate and timely clinical records; contribute to audits, research, and service improvement projects.
* Participate in supervision and ongoing CPD.
Requirements
* Master's degree or Doctoral degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
* Current registration with relevant national speech-language pathology regulatory body.
* Minimum 5 years experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a senior role.
* Strong leadership and teamwork skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
