This role requires a strong technical background in cloud-based finance systems-particularly Xero - as well as extensive experience in software migration and process improvement. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical abilities, exceptional project management capability, and a passion for delivering excellent results to clients.Key ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end digitalisation projects, ensuring successful delivery of system migrations, integrations, and process improvements for clients.Act as the subject matter expert for Xero, including advanced configuration, automation, reporting, and integration with third-party applications.Assess, map, and optimise existing business processes with a focus on digital enablement and efficiency gains for clients.Coordinate stakeholder engagement across departments, ensuring alignment, adoption, and effective communication throughout project lifecycles.Conduct feasibility assessments and technical evaluations for new digital tools and cloud-based solutions.Manage project timelines, risks, and deliverables, ensuring compliance with project and organisational objectives.Provide training, support, and documentation to ensure smooth onboarding of new systems and processes.Collaborate with clients, vendors, external partners, and internal teams to maintain project integrity and successful implementation outcomes.Required Skills & ExperienceIn-depth technical knowledge of Xero, including APIs, integrations, data structures, and advanced features.Xero CertifiedProven track record of leading finance software migration projectsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and recommend improvements.Demonstrated experience in project management, including planning, execution and risk mitigation.Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management capabilities.Ability to work autonomously while driving cross-functional collaboration.Strong client relationship management experience.Desired / Advantageous SkillsStrong understanding of cloud-based accounting platforms, such as Sage, QuickBooks, or similar alternatives.Certification or practical experience in Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement methodologies.Familiarity with automation tools, workflow platforms, and digital reporting solutions.QualificationsA relevant third-level qualification in Business, IT, Project Management, Accounting, or a related field (or equivalent experience).Professional project management certification (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP, Agile PM) is an advantage but not essential.Accounting Qualification advantageousJob Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: €38,000.00-€45,000.00 per yearBenefits:Additional leaveBike to work schemeCompany eventsCompany pensionEmployee assistance programFlexitimeSick payWork from homeApplication question(s):Are you Xero Certified or do you have at least 2 years experience in migrating financial data to XeroDo you have at least 2 years experience in a finance role or at an accounting practice in Ireland?Do you have at least 2 years experience in project management for clients?Work Location: Remote
