Hartley People Recruitment in partnership with our client are hiring for an ERP Transformation Project Manager for a 12 month contract in Limerick.
About the role The client is embarking on a major ERP transformation and needs a hands-on project manager to lead delivery end-to-end from discovery and design through build, test, cutover, and post-go-live stabilisation.
Youll coordinate cross-functional teams, partners, and vendors to deliver an ERP solution that aligns with business goals, improves operational efficiency, and is adopted by users.
What youll do Own the full project lifecycle: planning, execution, go-live, and hypercare, with clear scope, schedule, resources, and governance.
Build and maintain detailed project plans, RAID logs, budgets, and communication plans; report progress to senior stakeholders.
Partner with business process owners and IT to translate requirements into phased, value-driven delivery plans.
Manage third-party vendors/consultants and ensure cost-effective, contract-compliant delivery.
Proactively identify and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies; drive timely decision-making.
Lead change management: stakeholder engagement, readiness, training, and communications to support adoption.
Oversee data migration, integrations, testing (SIT/UAT), cutover planning, and environment management.
Ensure compliance with internal policies, quality standards, and relevant regulations.
Promote continuous improvement through retrospectives and lessons learned.
What youll bring Proven experience (typically 5+ years) leading ERP implementations or transformations.
Working knowledge of major ERP platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Net Suite) and core business processes (Finance, Supply Chain, Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay).
Strong project management skills: planning, budgeting, risk/issue management, reporting, and stakeholder engagement.
Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and vendors across multiple sites/time zones.
Clear, confident communicator who builds trust and alignment across technical and non-technical audiences.
Familiarity with change management and user training approaches.
Analytical mindset with practical problem-solving and prioritisation skills.
Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum.
Hands-on exposure to Agile or hybrid delivery models.
