Your New Job: As an Business Development and Sales Support Administrator, youll be key to supporting both direct customers and the wider commercial team.
Your work will involve handling enquiries, negotiating prices, securing orders, and maintaining accurate sales records.
Youll communicate with customers and team members, ensuring clear information flow and strong relationships.
This permanent role is based fully onsite, Monday-Friday.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: Engage directly with customers to negotiate, process orders, and track sales wins and losses.
Share technical information and documentation to support the commercial sales team.
Identify and research potential customers through outbound prospecting, including cold calling Deliver excellent customer service to encourage repeat business.
Keep CRM systems up to date with customer and project details.
Review and report on quotations and sales orders weekly and monthly.
Participate in promotional and marketing activities, including outbound calls and email campaigns.
Build strong relationships with customers, consultants, and specifiers.
Work towards agreed monthly KPIs relating to sales volume, conversion rates and revenue targets.
Maintain clear records, update project KPIs, and provide feedback to internal teams.
What Are We Looking For?: At least 2 years experience in internal sales, sales office, or telesales roles within the construction industry Confident engaging with customers on technical products.
Excellent telephone manner and strong communication skills.
Proficiency in Excel and CRM systems.
Highly organised, with strong multitasking and time management skills.
Motivated, proactive, and results-driven attitude.
