We are seeking an experienced Toolmaker specializing in Plastic Injection Moulds to join our dynamic team in Sligo.
In this role, you will play a critical part in the manufacturing process, using your expertise in mould fitting, assembly, and polishing to produce high-quality injection moulds.

Key Responsibilities
Perform fitting, assembly, surface grinding, metrology, and polishing of mould components.
Accurately read and interpret 2D mould drawings and 3D mould models.
Work with hot runner feed systems, including valve gate systems.
Plan and manage time effectively to meet project deadlines.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient production and maintain high-quality output.
Requirements
Fully qualified Toolmaker with 5 to 7 years of experience post-apprenticeship.
Strong knowledge of 2D and 3D mould drawings and models.
Proven experience with hot runner feed systems, including valve gate systems.
Expertise in surface grinding, fitting, assembly, metrology, and polishing.
Proficiency with CNC machining and CNC EDM equipment.
Experience in medical device tooling and/or polymer processing is an advantage.
Excellent planning, time management, and problem-solving skills.
