We are currently seeking a finance expert to lead our financial operations in Longford. This critical role will provide the opportunity for a commercially focused leader to drive change and deliver financial excellence.
Key Responsibilities include:
* Leading and managing financial operations ensuring accuracy, compliance and effective control.
* Consolidating and preparing monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
* Driving improvements in ERP usage with a focus on automation and efficiency.
* Overseeing the external audit process and maintaining strong relationships with auditors and advisors.
* Managing cash flow, debt financing and covenant reporting with a proactive and detail-driven approach.
* Providing strategic financial insight and recommendations to senior leadership.
* Ensuring tax compliance and managing external reporting in collaboration with advisors and payroll providers.
* Leading and developing a small finance team building a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Requirements include:
* A professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with at least 8 years of post-qualification experience.
* Experience in a similar role within a multi-entity or complex organisational structure.
* Strong audit background and experience managing external audit processes.
* Experience in a private equity environment or leveraged business is a strong advantage.
* Proven ability to lead and develop a small team.
* Skilled in financial analysis problem solving and decision-making.
* Strong communicator with the confidence to work across all levels of the organisation.
* High level of personal drive initiative and ability to get things done.
* Strong ERP system experience.
