Manager - Balla Community Resources Development (BCRD) Full Time Position 39 Hours per week. Location: Balla Community Resource Centre Established in 1996, Balla Community Resources Development (BCRD) is a not-for-profit organisation and registered charity dedicated to enhancing quality of life in our community. We work collaboratively with residents, community groups, businesses, and agencies to support inclusion, local development, and social enterprise. Our vision is a diverse, vibrant, and inclusive community, with BCRD recognised as a trusted local hub that delivers meaningful, lasting impact. We are now seeking an inspiring and experienced Manager to lead BCRD. Working closely with the Board of Directors, you will be responsible for delivering our Strategic Plan and Community Services Programme, ensuring full compliance with Pobal and governance requirements. This is a leadership role offering a unique opportunity to shape high-quality community services, strengthen partnerships, and develop BCRD as a thriving, sustainable social enterprise. The role is based in the Balla Community Resource Centre and offers flexible working hours to support programmes and events held outside standard business hours. Key Responsibilities Provide strong, inclusive leadership to board, staff, volunteers, and stakeholders Deliver the Strategic and Business Plans in line with the organisations mission, values, and governance Oversee financial management, budgeting, income generation, and reporting Ensure and maintain robust governance, HR, health & safety, and operational systems Manage and develop staff and support the effective delivery of services and projects Lead and coordinate community projects, events, and initiatives Build and maintain strong relationships with funders, statutory bodies, partners, and community groups Strengthen BCRDs profile through effective communications, marketing, website, and social media Manage the Community Resource Centre and facilities efficiently and professionally Identify funding opportunities and contribute to organisational sustainability Person Specification:Motivated, values-driven leader with a passion for community development and: A relevant qualification or experience in a similar management or supervisory role Demonstrated success in leading teams, managing projects, and delivering results Strong financial, governance, and organisational skills Excellent communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder engagement abilities A collaborative, inclusive leadership style with the ability to work independently Evidence of willingness to participate in relevant recognised training programmes Strong interest in community development, social enterprise, or local economic development Strong digital literacy, including social media and Microsoft Office applications Utilise flexible working hours to support events that may occur during evenings and weekends ?Full drivers licence and own transport Salary & Benefits - €40,000 €45,000, dependent on qualifications and experience Opportunity to lead and shape a respected community organisation Supportive Board and collaborative working environment Ongoing training and professional development Meaningful work with real community impact Flexible working hours Please submit your CV and Cover Letter by clicking 'Apply' below.
