WE ARE INVITING APPLICATIONS FOR THE POSITION OF ICT Support/Helpdesk Technician (Grade IV) ICT Support/Helpdesk Technician (Grade IV) Permanent Post 35 hours per week Owing to the nature of the work involved it is essential that the successful candidate possesses the following: QUALIFICATIONS: It is essential that each candidate shall have: Two years experience as a Desktop Support Technician Tier 1/Tier 2 level. a high proficiency in Windows Server, Active Directory, SQL Server, VMware/VSphere, Windows 10 /Windows 11 Desktops, Microsoft 365, Azure, Veeam Backup & Replication. A high level of initiative and be technically competent. experience with, LAN, WAN, VPN connectivity, routers, switches, Wireless Solutions, Firewalls, Routing/Internet Protocols and general infrastructure. Relevant third level qualification or MCSA certificate. Knowledge of Telephone Systems (PABX) desirable. Requirement for this Post: Experience in the production of Technical Documentation. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Flexibility. Excellent administrative and organisational skills. Time management skills. Self-motivation and the ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team. Ability to prioritise a very busy and demanding workload.
