**Job Title:** Mental Health Professional
**About the Role**
The Clinical Manager position is a critical role in our organization, requiring an experienced mental health professional to provide clinical leadership and oversight across various aspects of our service.
This role involves working closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of high-quality, safe, and effective mental health services to young people. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of mental health principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Oversee the implementation of clinical policies and procedures to ensure a safe, high-quality, and effective clinical service.
* Provide clinical supervision and line management to staff members, including conducting regular performance reviews and providing guidance on clinical practice.
* Contribute to the development and monitoring of local clinical systems and processes, ensuring seamless transitions for young people in and out of our service.
* Establish and maintain referral pathways with other healthcare providers to facilitate collaborative care.
* Monitor and report on clinical governance and risk management, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to address them.
**Requirements**
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* A Doctorate or equivalent qualification in clinical/counselling/educational psychology, or a related field.
* Mental Health Nurse registration with An Bord Altranais, or Social Worker registration with CORU, or Occupational Therapist registration with CORU, or Psychotherapist accreditation with the Irish Council for Psychotherapy (ICP) or the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP).
* At least five years' experience working in a mental health setting, with a focus on core clinical mental health skills, such as assessment, formulation, evidence-informed therapeutic intervention, and evaluation.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, including young people, families, and healthcare professionals.
