DeltaV AUTOMATION ENGINEERS required by CareerWise Recruitment for our multinational pharmaceutical clientr in Co. Tipperary. These are on-sites roles and are contract roles on initial 11 month contracts.
The DeltaV AUTOMATION ENGINEERS will be required to work closely with the Digital MMD teams responsible for the full Automation and IT scope and with vendors / partners with responsibility for delivery of DeltaV Distributed Control System (DCS).
NOTE: No sponsorship is provided for this role so applicants need to already have Irish / EU citizenship OR the relevant Stamp / Visa in place.
THE ROLE:
* Write User requirements for DeltaV modules
* Review and Approve related Design Documentation.
* Partner with local site project teams to scope changes on the DeltaV system
* Participate in Agile sprint teams for software development
* Participate in commissioning and qualification activities, including FATs, loop testing, onsite
* commissioning and testing
* Follow the SDLC Procedure to implement changes (covering RS updates, RTM Change control,
* Implementation and test)
* Ensure software is implemented in a safe fashion with quality a necessary output.
* Configuring and testing in development system as required.
* Educate local project teams on automation standards as they relate to technology selection, system configuration, SDLC, validation, hardware, software environments and business processes.
* Partner with internal Digital departments ensuring standard and secure implementation in line with Standards.
REQUIREMENTS:
* BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or other technical degree.
* Training completed in DeltaV standard and batch. 3 or more years of experience in DeltaV application.
* Proven record of proficiencies associated with business analysis on capital projects.
* Excellent understanding of cGMP's, SDLC methodologies and LEAN/MPS/ Sigma principles.
* Excellent facilitation, problem solving, and decision-making skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and define business problems, develop business cases, and identify appropriate process and technological solutions is essential.
* Proven ability to work in cross functional teams.
* Usual place of work will be Co. Tipperary, this is a site based role.
* The successful candidate may sometimes be required to attend meetings at Vendor premises or other sites as required.
* Experience commissioning DeltaV systems in GMP manufacturing facilities desired.
