Key Leadership Role for Health, Safety and Operational Excellence
This is a pivotal position responsible for ensuring compliance with legal requirements and industry standards across multiple sites. The successful candidate will oversee all aspects of health and safety, including training, incident investigation, and developing strategies for operational excellence.
Primary Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute a roadmap for continuous improvement using Lean methodologies such as 5S and process mapping to enhance operational efficiency and minimize risks.
* Enhance the culture of safety and efficiency by engaging directly with all levels of the operational team and promoting a proactive approach to risk management.
* Lead thorough investigations into incidents and near misses, focusing on identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
* Mentor and develop the in-house team to champion the integrated safety and operational excellence agenda and drive organizational performance.
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
* Possession of a NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent health and safety qualification is mandatory.
* A minimum of 5 years' experience in health and safety management, preferably in automotive, logistics, manufacturing, or heavy industry sectors.
