To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a new IT Support Specialist in Dundalk. The environment is primarily Microsoft Windows; Windows 10, Windows Servers, Active Directory, Office 365, and general Windows desktop software.
What a typical day looks like:
* You will provide hands-on support across our facilities, including PC installations, configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing hardware, software, wireless devices, network printers, peripherals, mobile devices, and videoconference equipment.
* Assist in IT desk support and office moves as needed.
* On-board and off-board employees.
* Handle server-based changes/issues when required.
* Maintain comprehensive support documentation.
* Manage your own tickets for IT-related tasks.
* Ensure enterprise systems are operational, secure, and safe through daily schedules, backups, asset management, anti-virus, and applying critical patches.
* Respond to security threats and assist in remediation efforts.
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
* Ability to respond to security threats and assist with remediation.
* Excellent communication and people skills across remote staff, on-site staff, and executives.
* Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
* Effective time management across multiple projects.
* Understanding of software licensing management.
* Strong knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and Windows Server.
* Good understanding of TCP/IP and network issues.
* Knowledge of PC hardware setup, domain configuration, Active Directory, backup systems, and virtual environments.
* Flexible attitude towards working hours, including out-of-hours work for major updates.
* A full, clean driving license for site commuting.
* Formal IT qualification.
